Central Law Courts

The Central Law Courts in Perth houses the Magistrates Court and the Coroners Court along with many other official departments and registries. We were asked to maintain the existing conventional fire detection system in place whilst simultaneously installing a new addressable one. Due to the nature of the building it was not possible to interrupt the fire protection systems at any time.
Our approach to this project, therefore, had to be one of careful planning and consideration, working in unison with both the builder and the client in order to coordinate our actions and remain in synch with developments throughout the project. We pride ourselves on our ability to see the bigger picture and work efficiently and effectively at all times. We always strive to find the best solution to any challenge and as a result we completed this project on time and to the required specifications whilst maintaining consistent fire protection throughout.

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH)

SCGH is the largest fully operational medical hospital in Western Australia. We have completed many individual projects with SCGH but, throughout all of these, the over-arching issues have always been: to ensure that all departments remain fully operational throughout and; to ensure that we maintain and upgrade the fire protection systems within the hospital in line with both Australian Standards and the high level of standards and specifications required by SCGH themselves.
We have been servicing the fire protection needs of SCGH for the last 13 years and are proud of the fact that all departments have remained operational during this time. Thanks to our diligent work SCGH enjoys the highest standard of fire protection systems.

Gorgon Gas

The Gorgon Gas Project involved the construction of some of the largest modular constructed buildings in Western Australia. Camp facility buildings included: wet mess, dry mess, administration, ice chiller rooms, gymnasium and workshops. Our role within this project was to wire the portable buildings in such a way that would enable them to be connected upon deployment to the camp in Barrow Island. This task involved fulfilling complex quality standards and the equally complex administrative issues related to these. Due to the nature of this project it was necessary to work within very strict time constraints in order to complete the job on time.
By working to our high levels of diligence and professionalism we have ensured that all of the required quality standards have been reached and that all of the administrative issues on all components and portables to date have been met on time. All of the strict deadlines on this job to date have been met thanks to our hardworking, efficient team.

Wandana Towers, Subiaco

Wandana Towers in Subiaco is made up of a nine-storey apartment complex and two three-story apartments blocks, which contain in excess of 300 fully occupied residential apartments. We were asked to complete a project that would bring this complex up to standard and ensure excellent fire detection throughout – with minimum disruption to the lives of the residents.
The fire detection system installed included a fire hose reel system, a diesel pumping system and water storage tanks. Due to the nature of the building it was necessary to complete this project efficiently as all apartments were to remain residentially operational throughout the life of the project.
We established effective links with both the building managers and the tenants in order to ensure that they all remained fully informed of the progress of the project at all times. Our ‘open door’ policy ensured that we answered questions and resolved concerns quickly and effectively. The tenants were delighted with the low level of disruption throughout this extensive project and were equally pleased that the project was completed both on time and to budget.
